Fort Hood Soldiers Volunteer For Middle East Deployments - To Escape Heat!
III Corps leadership announced last Thursday of a spike in requests for deployment to the middle east! One Lt. Colonel, who wished to remain anonymous, stated "We were not prepared for this level of enthusiasm for deployment". According to officials at III Corps many of the Soldiers requesting Middle East deployment, are Veterans with at least 1 prior deployment under their belt.
